Usually, a conditionally accessible incentive is portrayed as what it is: An incentive for meeting those conditions. In this case, driving the rating up on the Guild Wars 2 Facebook page by Like-ing it, and automatically referring friends to the page accordingly.
But apparently here, doing so is part of the gift itself?
I don't necessarily disagree that such a thing can be true: Contributing money in a kickstarter pledge drive can be satisfying in and of itself to a worthy project. In the same way, driving ratings of a game, book, movie, web series, etc. can. I've done both, and been thrilled when the project met its goals.
But, an important part of that is the honesty and forthrightness of the party you're helping. This 'invitation' to view the video? It's neither. It's transparent doublespeak.
Edit: That is, it's not,
"Thank you for your interest, and we'd love it if you'd help generate more interest in Guild Wars 2 to make it the best and most successful game we can. We've setup a Facebook page with incentives for Liking it, starting with gameplay footage that has never been made available before!"
But rather,
"Thank you for participating. As a gift for your support, we're giving you access to some exclusive footage available if and only if you drive traffic to our Facebook page by Liking it. Only, we're going to downplay the conditional nature of it, and the ultimate goal of this promotion! Thanks again."

Is that intended to be released via alternate, unconditionally accessible channels? If so, I rescind the above rant.
If not, did they hijack the video from Facebook and upload it to youtube without permission?

Yes, i think that's the case, but that couldn't be avoided really, and ANet must've been aware of it, making the 'thank you facebook fans' thing only a matter of PR rather than generating some 'exclusive content'.

Ditto. It's why I take a thing like that seriously. Facebook explicitly exists, from the corporate side, as a means of legally mining data and driving advertising for third parties. If people want to share that information, it's up to them, though I feel they should be aware that it has value. Every bit of your information that is collected, repackaged, and sold is worth cash value. Companies literally pay millions for lists of ~20-30k names and addresses alone for sending junk mail. (You can look up university scandals relating to this, selling the info of alumni and sports game ticket buyers.)
I value my privacy, even if most other consumers don't, and recognize that companies do too. If I were willing to share it for advertising purposes, I'd expect my fair share of the proceeds, at the least, if it's not something I believe in strongly*. (*But even in that case, I'm not open to sharing it with other parties.)

It'd take pretty draconian measures to make anything like that exclusive in the strictest sense of the word, and even that's no guarantee. In this kind of case, 'exclusivity' would refer to a source being the only official source, rather than literally the only source.

Bloody links are unique and go through anet. Almost like they're testing if you registered with a real email account or you're following your email acc closely. Problem is though, the damn links doesnt even work because they're servers are running overdrive...

Not just 'cool name'. You'll get full access to the game, 3 days before the official release.

$150 US for the Collectors edition, sounds cool unless you're forced to buy it from NCsoft EU... 129 Pounds... $202 US dollars.
That's the tax you pay for not being American.
Oh well

I'm definitely going for the digital deluxe. The collector's edition is just a rip off that I can't afford.
